Area: 70m2
The interior design of the apartment in the Botanica housing estate in Gdańsk was created using natural materials. A large amount of wood, whether in the form of floorboards or carpentry, warms up the interior and gives it a cozy feel.

A design for a 2+1 family apartment. A vacation apartment. The owners of the apartment like cozy interiors. The entire apartment is dominated by wood, grays, and beiges, to which I selected beautiful lamps and wallpapers together with the client. The living area includes a living room with a kitchen, a hall, and a guest bathroom. The private area includes a bedroom, a large bathroom, and a guest room. A common element in all rooms is natural oak wood. The kitchen was made according to an individual design, and its large glass display case is the main decoration visible from both the hallway and the living room. A slightly higher island separates the kitchen from the living room, and the decorative front also serves as a decoration. The fronts of the wardrobe in the hall coherently refer to the vertical divisions that appeared in the living room on the wall with the TV. The tall cabinets also include a seat with a quilted headboard, which makes it easier for the household members to function. To break up the subdued color scheme in the hall, black accents were added in the form of door frames, ceiling recesses, cabinet handles, and door knobs. Photos: Krzysztof Rudek
