In line with the tenants' tastes, patterns and ornaments were completely abandoned, with all decoration based on the delicate grain of the floor surfaces and the dark stone TV wall. The open space, where the household members spend time together, plays a leading role. It consists of a spacious living room connected to the dining room, kitchen, and a wide corridor leading to the bathing room with a jacuzzi and a TV. In this case, the simplicity of the arrangement was perfectly combined with the excellent functionality of the space. A significant change was made to the original layout of the house by removing the spiral staircase and moving it closer to the main entrance, which allowed for a significant enlargement of the living room.

The layout of the walls on the first floor has also undergone a complete transformation: three rooms have been converted into four rooms and additional space for an office located on the mezzanine. The original small bathroom was enlarged and a bathtub and shower were added. The relocation of the stairs created additional space for arrangement. Photos: Beata Albrecht
