Area: 250m2
The photos show the interior design of a single-family house located in Gdańsk, in the Morena housing estate.

The project involves the design of a single-family home for a family of four. The ground floor features a living area, which includes a living room with an open kitchen, a dining room, a guest bathroom, and a hallway. There is no TV in the living room, so the sofa has been positioned to face the garden, and the home theater consists of a large screen that slides down from the ceiling. This solution has made the living room more spacious. The colors gray, white, and black dominate here, with black providing strong accents. On the black wall, there is a custom-made painting depicting a crane from the Gdańsk shipyard and lighting in the form of vertical LEDs embedded at various heights in the wall. The second part is an open kitchen with a kitchen island and a dining table. The tall kitchen cabinets finished with black veneer conceal the entrance to the pantry, which is a very useful room. The whole house is tied together by the color black, which appears on the wall by the staircase leading through all floors and in numerous black accents used in other rooms. The owners like bold solutions and modern interiors, which is why many innovative ideas have been used in the presented interior. The guest bathroom is a small room with wallpaper featuring an original green pattern reflected in the mirror above the sink. The original pattern created by the reflection allows each member of the household to see something different. The upper floor houses the bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a study. The master bedroom is dominated by gray combined with powder pink in the form of an armchair, lamps, and other accessories. Thanks to this combination, the room has become cozy. The master bedroom is directly connected to the bathroom and wardrobe, separated by a glass wall with a sliding door. The bathroom next to the bedroom was designed with exceptional care, as it was intended to serve both decorative and practical functions. The main accent here is the freestanding bathtub, which stands out against the black wall. A wide mirror covering the entire length of the room serves as a cabinet. The black and white color scheme of this room is broken up by the warm beige color of the curtains and soft carpet. Upstairs, there is a second bathroom with a shower and a washer/dryer unit located in a cabinet under the mirror. Pink also appears in the daughter's room in the form of wallpaper referring to hot countries and in a custom-made painting hanging in the hallway. On this level, we also find the homeowner's study, where the main decorative accent is a wall finished with decorative plaster imitating concrete. Design; Beata Albrecht Photos: Krzysztof Rudek
