INTERIOR DESIGN IN THE COLORS OF NATURE
Surface: 80m2
The apartment was designed for a couple of travelers who value contact with nature. The location of this estate - in the vicinity of the Oliwa Forest, completely met the investors' expectations. Full of passion, who like forest bicycle trips and horse riding, they were a great inspiration for me to design this unique and cozy interior. I decided to design this apartment inspired by its surroundings. The interior is dominated by wood, there is a lot of greenery and graphite accents. As you can see in the photos, there is space for souvenirs from the trip - a display case at the table and shelves for horse riding toques. On the TV wall there is a graphite panel resembling a stone patch, illuminated at night with an LED strip. I decided to use the same material also in the kitchen on the countertop and on the apron, thus leaving a uniform and coherent character of the interior. The living space is additionally warmed by various material textures used on the sofa, chairs and curtains, which makes the interior even more cozy.
I designed the bedroom and the office in subdued, harmonious colors, in which shades of beige combine with a shade of natural oak. In the study above the sofa there is an impressive wooden map with places visited by the owners. A round illuminated mirror decorates the guest bathroom. It also featured a graphite plate with a rock structure, which refers to rocks in nature. However, the main bathroom was to accommodate more functions needed in every apartment. In the cabinet under the washbasin there is a built-in washer-dryer and next to it there is a cabinet for a laundry basket. There is additional storage space in the built-in structure above the toilet bowl. By hiding all the necessary functions in the built-ins, we have a more spacious room in which a wide mirror visually enlarges it even further. An interesting idea of the owners is a green wall made of living moss, which really enlivened this room and looks beautiful. I would like to thank the owners of this apartment for their wonderful cooperation and many inspiring conversations at each meeting. It was a great pleasure to meet you, it was a pure pleasure to create this interior with you. Photos: Krzysztof Rudek
