The Heart of Elegance: Interior Design Project for a 74m² Apartment in Gdańsk on Stocznia

Surface: 74m2

In the living area of the apartment, which includes the living room connected with the kitchen, I have created a space that exudes warmth, elegance, and coziness. Beige walls covered with decorative plaster give the interior a gentle, natural glow, creating an atmosphere of peace and harmony. These muted colors have a soothing effect on the senses, providing residents with a place to relax and unwind after a challenging day. The warm tone of wood, which dominates the decor, adds character and unique charm to the interior. A stone kitchen island and furniture made of this natural wood provide the room with coziness and natural beauty. A soft rug complements the space, providing comfort and softness underfoot, while also adding a textural accent to the area.Atmospheric lighting, both in the form of subtle ceiling lamps and designer standing or hanging lamps, creates a pleasant atmosphere and adds a unique character to the interior. Illuminated curtains, the kitchen island, and a display case add elegance and touches of luxury, creating a unique, magical atmosphere. I designed the living space in such a way that despite the spacious kitchen island, there is a comfortable table ready to accommodate many guests. Next to it, there is an illuminated display case with space for dishes, which can be easily accessed due to its proximity. My goal as an interior designer was to create a harmonious space that reflects the personality and needs of the client, while also providing unique aesthetic and sensory experiences. The clients wanted natural materials to dominate, as they never go out of style; stone and wood are timeless, and when used in the right proportion, they lend a refined taste that brings us closer to nature.

The bedroom area required rearrangement, with one room transformed into a wardrobe and the wall between the bedroom and wardrobe removed, replaced by a tinted glass with a wide entrance and sliding doors. In the bedroom, I used muted colors, mainly beige, to create a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Tall upholstered bed headboards are paired with a vertical mirror at the vanity, which is additionally illuminated from below. The wardrobe is made of wood, adding nobility and elegance to it. Atmospheric lighting, both in the form of subtle ceiling lamps and designer standing or hanging lamps, creates a pleasant atmosphere and adds a unique character to the interior. This space was designed with attention to every detail to provide residents not only a functional place for everyday living but also a place where they can enjoy moments of peace and comfort. My goal as an interior designer was to create a harmonious space that reflects the personality and needs of the client, while also providing unique aesthetic and sensory experiences. If you are looking for an interior designer who can create a space for you that not only impresses with its appearance but also creates a cozy atmosphere, I encourage you to contact me. My vision of interior design is based on understanding your needs and preferences so that together we can create a space that reflects your lifestyle and meets all your expectations.
